Thermalpark Dunajská Streda

THERMALPARK in Dunajská Streda belongs among the most popular and the most visited recreational resorts of the Rye Island. The healing thermal water, a park, a lakelet, pools, a restaurant, buffets, a hotel, pension and a camp – this all is offered by it to its visitors who long for careless relax and fun.

Mineralized thermal water swimming pool has excellent effects on musculoskeletal diseases. Visitors can look forward to new toboggan world with seven slides, a 211-meter slide surface, where not only children but also adults will experience a fantastic fun. The swimming pool area offers 10 pools with thermal water having a temperature of 24 °C to 40 °C. It features 4 indoor pools and 6 outdoor pools.

Malkia Zoo Park

Zoo Malkia Park is where you will find lots of interesting and rare animals and where you can relax and the whole family may have a great time. You can find it in southwestern Slovakia on Danubian Plain near the village of Orechová Potôň, next to the Slovakia Ring. It is located 9 km from Dunajska Streda.

The overriding aim of the zoo park is the preservation of circus animals. The zoo tries to create friendly conditions that enable them to live a happy and contented life.

Slovakia Ring

Slovakia Ring is located in southwestern Slovakia on Danubian Plain near the village of Orechová Potôň, next to the Malkia Zoo Park, 9 km from Dunajska Streda.

The track parameters make SLOVAKIA RING one of the longest permanent circuits in Europe. It is technically demanding even for the most experienced drivers, while the large run-off areas help maximum safety. There are four challenging artificial crests on the track which offer even more adrenalin.

Watermill

Dunajský Klátov

cultural and technical monument in the 
Dunajská Streda district,  is the last example 
of water mills that worked on Žitný ostrov.

 In the mill building there is a permanent 
exposition of the water mill with the original 
preserved equipment.

Gabčíkovo Dams

The Gabčíkovo–Nagymaros Dams is a large barrage project on the Danube.

The project aimed at preventing catastrophic floods,

improving river navigability and producing clean electricity.
